Where Curiosity, Conversations, and Growth Come Together
Love the chase? Start your sales career at Highsoft. Prospecting, first meetings, and real impact in a global tech company with a friendly culture đŻ
The Mission
At Highsoft, we build tools that help people understand data better â and we do it together. From our roots in Vik i Sogn, weâve grown into a global company while keeping a friendly, down-to-earth culture built on trust, collaboration, and curiosity. Our software is used and loved by many of the worldâs largest companies, but what matters most to us is how we work: openly, thoughtfully, and with pride in what we create.
As an Account Manager focused on acquisition and license compliance, youâll play a key role at the very start of our customer relationships. Your mission is to help existing users of Highcharts get off to a great start â by opening doors, building early trust, and guiding them toward confident use of our products while making sure their license matches how theyâre using it. Youâll combine relationship-building with clarity and structure, helping customers understand their options and feel supported from day one.
The Role
This position is perfect for someone early in their sales career who thrives on proactive outreach, asking probing questions, and opening new doors. You will primarily focus on outbound outreach and initial customer engagement, and you will be a key player in our License Compliance initiative.
Your typical day will involve a mix of structured outreach, customer conversations, and updating our systems.
Acquisition & Outreach: Identify and qualify prospects via email, initiate initial conversations, and follow up on proposals.
License Compliance: Contact organizations that may be using Highcharts without the correct license, clearly and kindly explain their options, and escalate more complex situations to the senior sales team.
Pipeline Management: Follow up on quotes and ensure your activity pipeline is accurate and up to date.
Continuous Improvement: Share feedback and ideas to help shape the development of this new role and enhance our overall sales process.
The Profile We're Seeking
Youâre curious, motivated, and enjoy working towards clear goals together with others. You get energy from talking to new people, spotting opportunities, and seeing that your work leads to real results. Where others see roadblocks, you tend to see possibilities.
You might have 1â2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or another customer-facing role â or you simply know this is the direction you want to grow in. You like reaching out proactively, starting new conversations (not just nurturing existing ones), and youâre comfortable communicating in clear, friendly English, both in meetings and over email.
You donât need to tick every box, but it helps if you:
Like to stay organized and follow through on what you start
Pick up new digital tools without too much trouble
Stay motivated when things move fast, goals are ambitious, and feedback is direct
Are curious about how companies use software and want to learn more about the tech/business side
Itâs a plus if you find licensing and the commercial side of technology interesting â but itâs definitely not a requirement.
The Highsoft Way
At Highsoft, we take our craft seriously â but we donât take ourselves too seriously. Youâll join a professional, informal team where people are trusted to do great work, help each other out, and have a laugh along the way. Think âhigh standards + low shouldersâ: real collaboration, quick decisions, and a short path from idea to action (sometimes with a coffee in hand, sometimes after a darts rematch).
Youâll work with skilled colleagues from different backgrounds and nationalities, and your work will have real impact as we grow globally and keep pushing for better data visualization â with sustainability and accessibility built into how we think and build.
What you can expect:
đď¸ Hybrid work + flexible hours (freedom with responsibility â and yes, we actually mean it)
đ¤ A strong support system with solid onboarding, close follow-up, and teammates who genuinely have your back
âď¸ Dart matches, mountain hikes, and coffee breaks in the common room
Work location: While our headquarters is in Vik, we also have offices at RocketHouse in Sogndal and Media City Bergen. You are encouraged to work from the location that suits you best đ
