Business Consultant – The Glue of Our Daily Operations
Temporary position from April 1, 2026, to March 1, 2027.
Securing revenue, streamlining sales, and simplifying administration.

We are looking for a temporary Business Consultant to support our sales team, ensuring secure revenue and a smooth flow in invoicing and follow-up. You will also assist our staff and leadership with administrative tasks, allowing the organization to operate more effectively. You will be a central support pillar for sales, finance, and administration.
At Highsoft, you will work close to the core of our business, enjoying a high level of trust and short decision-making paths. Around here, the distance between "we should do that" and "it’s fixed" is remarkably short.
What's the job?
Your workday will be varied and hands-on, with a primary focus on sales support. You will be responsible for outgoing invoices and ensuring that billing, payments, and customer follow-ups are accurate and timely. This includes verifying invoices, handling cancellations, booking payments, and following up on overdue accounts in close collaboration with the sales team.
You will also manage CRM inquiries and our webshop, contributing to quality assurance when we implement changes affecting sales and finance. Additionally, you will play a key role in monthly and year-end closings, including revenue deferrals and monitoring renewals (ARR). Standard annual tasks, such as updating tax forms and relevant documentation, are also part of the remit.
Beyond finance, you will ensure our offices run smoothly. This includes coordinating Highsoft Week in Vik, managing office logistics, and acting as the contact person for the landlord and technical contractors. When new colleagues join, you are the one who handles photography and welcome gifts—the small but vital details that make people feel welcome.
Who are you?
We imagine you have a background in finance and/or administration and enjoy working at the intersection of sales and operations. You are structured and accurate, but flexible enough to handle interruptions and the small "can you just help with..." tasks that pop up. You communicate well in both Norwegian and English and enjoy being the person others can lean on.
